Dari Abdullah ibn Masud RA beliau berkata : Kami berada di sisi Nabi SAW, kemudian berdirilah seorang lelaki, dan seorang lelaki lain menceritakan keaibannya selepas dia pergi, berkata Nabi SAW : “Keluarkanlah ia (baki-baki makanan) dari celah-celah gigimu!”, kemudian dia berkata : Apa yang perlu aku keluarkan? Aku tidak makan apa-apa daging! Baginda berkata : “Sesungguhnya engkau telah memakan daging saudaramu.” (HR Thabarani No: 13145) Status: Hadis Sahih Pengajaran: 1. Mengumpat adalah perbuatan yang dilarang oleh Islam. 2. Orang yang mengumpat diumpamakan seperti memakan daging saudara Islam yang lain.
