Maybank2U and CIMB Clicks customers using Smartphones running on Android are targeted by cyber criminals.

(1) The Zeus banking malware family is used to infect the user's (victim) computer, which injects modified fake contents or page while a user is browsing a legitimate online banking website.

(2) The malware will then request for the victim's smartphone operating system and mobile number.

(3) Then, the malware sends a malicious APK via SMS to the smartphone and infect the smart phone in order to establish callback with the attackers for further instructions.
