Will I get charged for data when I use the Hotlink RED app?
Usage of the Hotlink RED app including the LIVE.LIFE.LOUD. section is free if you are using mobile internet as a Maxis or Hotlink customer. Please note that a warning will appear should you leave the app to visit a chargeable destination such as viewing the event map via Google maps.
Why can't I click the Claim button?
You cannot click the Claim button because the tickets are no longer available.
Why can't I see a Claim button?
All available rewards have been claimed or it's only an announcement, not a claim notification.
What is LIVE.LIFE.LOUD.?
LIVE.LIFE.LOUD. section in the Hotlink RED app features special events, experiences and giveaways that Hotlink customers can be invited to via the Hotlink RED App.
What is Hotlink RED app?
The Hotlink RED is a new app for Hotlink customers with the below key functions:
MyHotlink – For you to (1) check your main credit balance, (2) top up your credit, (3) check your Mobile Internet quota balance and also to (4) purchase new Mobile Internet passes.
LIVE.LIFE.LOUD – For you to check out and claim awesome rewards which include VIP Access, Exclusive Giveaways and Epic Experiences!
What if I do not have a Smartphone to view LIVE.LIFE.LOUD.?
You can view all the cool stuff too at app.hotlink.com.my.
What happens after I have won a giveaway?
You will be contacted within a week after winning a giveaway from the Hotlink team to verify your claim. Arrangements for the giveaway to get to you will then be made.
What do I do with the barcode after I have won?
We advise that you screen capture your barcode immediately for reference. Please ensure that you do not forward your barcode to anyone else or you will not be able to claim your ticket or giveaway.
The Hotlink App is only available for Android. Will you be releasing it on iOS, Windows, Blackberry, Firefox?
We will be releasing the iOS version in the near future. We are also evaluating the feasibility of the app on other platforms. In the meantime, you can always view and interact with LIVE.LIFE.LOUD. from its microsite. The URL is app.hotlink.com.my.
Must I be a Hotlink customer to view LIVE.LIFE.LOUD.?
No. Anyone can view the LIVE.LIFE.LOUD. section in the app or microsite. However, only a Hotlink customer will be given the opportunity to "Claim" items or tickets to these events. They can check if they are eligible by logging into the app or microsite.
Must I be a Hotlink customer to claim a ticket or an item?
Yes. You will need to be an active Hotlink customer to "Claim". However, you can only claim a ticket if we have shortlisted you for an event. You will receive a push notification if you are shortlisted for an event.
If I am facing an issue with the Hotlink RED app or I would like to feedback, how can I do this?
If you would like to tell us something or report an issue, please go to the "Feedback" section and let us know. We will capture this and assist you.
How much does it cost to get the Hotlink RED App?
The Hotlink RED App is free to download from the store. Usage of the app is also free. Please note that a warning will appear should you leave the app to visit a chargeable destination such as viewing the event map via Google maps.
How do I recover a ticket?
If you have "Claimed" an item or a ticket, you can always go to the events page and click on the show my ticket button. However, we do advise that you screen capture your barcode/ticket.
How do I know once I won/claimed a ticket or giveaway?
Once you have won or claimed a ticket or giveaway, you will receive a bar code confirming that you have won. To be extra careful, please screen capture your barcode immediately for reference.
How do I get the Hotlink RED App?
You can download the Hotlink RED app by visiting the Google Play store on your Android enabled device.
How do I get invited for events or have the chance to win giveaways in LIVE.LIFE.LOUD.?
You will know if you are invited or eligible to attend an event or get to claim a giveaway if you receive a notification from the Hotlink RED App or if you see a "ticket" icon in the events page. Just click on the icon. Tickets or giveaways are limited in number per event, therefore if you receive a notification, act quickly!

Can I get invited or claim a giveaway from the microsite if I do not have the Hotlink RED app?
We will also be giving out tickets and giveaways to Hotlink customers via app.hotlink.com.my. If you receive an SMS or if you see the "ticket" icon on the microsite, you can click on the "Claim" option. The "Claim" option will be shown and is clickable if you are eligible.
